Air Mail is a cinematic 3D flying adventure app for all ages. Learn to fly a seaplane from Shipmaster Lucky and become an island flyer. Go on 25 important missions from delivering mail to crop dusting farms. This is a wonderful app that will appeal to all ages.
Choose to fly as a boy or a girl when you create your profile. Within the general settings you can purchase a cheat menu, set the difficulty and select your controls. I preferred the touch controls where you maneuver your plane from the bottom right and left of the screen.
There are 3 modes of play. Mission Mode that has 25 missions to complete. Express Delivery is for timed practice runs with specific objectives, like pass through as many rings possible within 35 seconds. In Explore Mode you can cruise around the various zones you’ve unlocked in Mission Mode.
I’m generally not a fan of adventure apps, however, Air Mail succeeds in winning me over with the guidance arrow. Rather than wander aimlessly around the various levels, the guidance arrow let’s you know when you’re headed in the wrong direction. It is still enough of a challenge to maneuver your plane to pick up and drop off items never mind finding the location of where your goal needs to be completed. For the die hard adventurers however, you can disable your guidance arrow, and set the game to advanced for a real challenge.
The narrator of the Air Mail app draws you into its beautifully animated fantasy environment while the awesome feeling of flight keeps you coming back for more and more gameplay. This is an A++ game app.
