Dwarves versus Orcs is an attempt at playing on an age old rivalry, posited by Tolkien reference (Lord of the Rings). This game is a tower attack defense type of game. You build units to not only supply yourself, but also to attack and defend yourself. The tower defense type of game play can be done well, but I still have not seen it in iPhone/iPad style game play. In this game there are lines that you can place your units on in order to send them forward into battle. First off the line system is a little dumb. You just kind of get lucky as far as which line your enemy spawns on. You also send your troops into battle on a line, which means you typically have to react to what the enemy is doing more so than attacking. The game is fairly slow and the graphics are horrible, and so is the sound. As you can tell this wasn’t my favorite.

There’s not much to this one folks. Place guys on a line and hope for the best. Try to attack their building before they attack yours. Make sure to use the peons to gather resources.
Graphics: Bad. With a game this simple you would think that they would be able to put together a cleaner package. The graphics are grainy and just plain bad.
Sound/Music: Also bad. Very hollow sound effects. You hear clanking of fighting and that’s about it. I guess the best way to put it into words is that the game sounds fake.
Pros: None.
Cons: Everything. Try Cartoon Wars 2, much better for this game type.
Addiction level: Low. You would do better to look elsewhere.
