Infinity Quest

Infinity Quest looked really cool. However, honestly I’m surprised it’s rated as well as it is.  I began playing Infinity Quest and it started going through the intro, then it stopped.  I tapped the screen, nothing happened.  Really? You couldn’t have put a small arrow on the screen to finally let someone know that you have to scroll through the intro.  I mean honestly I thought the game just died right there, which was not a good start.  Then, I took three deep breaths and began to play.  Except I would need an amazing amount of deep breaths to actually play this game. First off, it looks terrible.  It literally looks like someone took some paper cut outs and moved them around on screen. I guess if you are into the retro game scene this might be cool, but for me, no thanks.  First strike, graphics were terrible.  I mean honestly your guy looks like a fat munchkin with stubby legs.  The next problem is that when you die, you start completely over again. Not at the level you are on, but completely from the start.  I’m sorry but that makes for some pretty lame game play if you ask me. People buy phone and tablet games to play casually, not to try and tear their hair out.  Especially since to try the level again you need a diamond, which you can only get by paying for. Why the hell would I want to pay for a diamond for a terrible game?  I mean honestly, work on your marketing a little more here.  Second Strike. The sound also leaves something to be desired.  Anyway, you can see what I thought of this one.
