Zombie Highway Zips - Best Game Apps

Zombie Highway is true to its name. You are are driving a car down a road littered with bad@$$ zombies. On a side note, when the zombie apocalypse actually happens, if these are the types of zombies that rise from the dead we are totally and utterly screwed. The zombies in Zombie Highway can jump around 50 feet onto a vehicle moving at 60 mph. The object of this game is to keep driving as far as you can, without getting overrun by zombies; and what I mean by overrun is they are so strong they flip your car over and eat you. You do have a weapon you can shoot at the zombies as you drive, however, the more interesting and easier way to get them off of your car is to drive really close to objects and knock them off. Basically there are overturned cars along the road and you have to get close enough to rub the zombie off, but also not hit the car itself. It is actually an interesting concept that requires a bit more skill than you would think, especially with zombies tugging on your car in all directions.

Zombie Highway Walkthrough / Guide

There are basically four ways to kill zombies, and two of them are rarely thought of. The first one is to swipe them off using objects. This is the normal way the game wants you to do it. You get really close to an object and it scrapes the zombie off your car. The problem with this way is that you risk hitting the object you are getting close too, especially when the zombie tries to pull you into the object. The next way is shooting the zombie. The game also kind of hands you this one. You can only shoot zombies that hang on the back seat side of the car, because your passenger is supposed to be doing the shooting. Shooting zombies is done simply by tapping one side of the car or the other, and different weapons can be used and upgraded. The third way is to just run the damn things over before they have a chance to jump on your car. The zombies won’t jump forward, so if there’s nothing behind them then just run over them and you simply wont have to deal with them. The fourth way is to drive on the complete opposite side of the zombie so it will jump so far that he won’t actually make it to your car and tumble away from you. This is also extremely effective. The last two methods are the only 1 shot kill methods, even for stronger zombies.

Graphics: Great. The graphics for this game are actually really good, I enjoyed the gameplay as much as if it were on a regular computer or console.

Sound/Music: Good. Really like the noise when the zombies are trying to flip your car by tugging on it.

Pros: This is actually a really fun, great game. I enjoyed it for quite some time, and it’s challenging enough to not only be fun but frustrating at times. Another thing I really like that developers do is to make a free version. If you want to try this game out, there’s a free version of it before you buy it. Letting you try before you buy.

Cons: It gets damned hard. These are some tough zombies.

Addiction level: High. Try the lite version, then buy the real one when you want to get more competative.
