Card Ace is the number one social casino game where you can play video poker, roulette, blackjack, Texas hold’em and slots all in one app. The Card Ace interface is very well done. You start with a 10k bankroll and can choose between various levels of play, starting with the lowest buy-in “The Garage” to increasing levels from “Off The Strip,” “The Scene,” to “High Rollers.”
The games are straight forward, and the live poker surprisingly acceptable. I liked how it offered possible betting choices of min bet, 1/2 pot, pot size or all in.
The big surprise for me in Card Ace is a game they offer called Word Ace. Word Ace is a Texas hold’em word game. You get dealt two hole cards, each with a letter with a particular value. Then the flop is dealt showing 3 more letters and you bet based on if you think you can make a word worth more points than your opponents. The game continues with the 2 more common cards, and ultimately you try to make the highest scoring word. I couldn’t tell if you’re limited to a best 5 card hand, or if you could actually use all 7 cards. Either way, if you’re into casino games, the Card Ace App is a great free way to kill some time.
