Fight Night Champion is one of the many amazing crossover sports apps for phones and tablets. Fight Night Champion is a great app for those that are boxing enthusiasts, OR if you just need to let out a little aggression! If you follow boxing, you will love this app. It has most of the different boxing stars wrapped up into one app, including all the different weight classes. You have several options to choose from; instant fights, a tournament mode to work your way up the ladder, as well as multiplayer over WiFi or Bluetooth so you can play against your friends. This game is a lot of fun!

Fight Night Champion has a brief tutorial to teach you how to play. With any sports simulator, it tries to mimic real life. Boxers have different styles, some wear their opponents down, some go for those critical punches at just the right time. Choose a boxer that fits your style. If you like to throw a lot of punches, get someone with a little more stamina / agility. If you like to throw big heavy punches, get someone with a lot of power. Learn to use the blocking feature, especially when your opponent goes for a signature move. If your enemy is stunned for a second, try to use your boxer’s signature punch by swiping in the form of a check mark on the screen.
Graphics: Great. The gameplay is smooth and there are different effects for contact made by players including how their sweat splatters.
Sound/Music: Great. Love the crowd noise as well as the referee telling you to get back. Everything sounds accurate and the punching noises really get you into it and make you feel like you’re in the ring!
Pros: Great boxing action! Very in-your-face game. You get super into it and try to punch like crazy!
Cons: The controls of movement are a little bit awkward at first, especially when you are getting psyched up in the game. Try to remember that when you throw punches you have to be close enough to make contact. Stepping side to side or back to avoid enemy punches can really help!
