Peggle is another PopCap creation that I’m late to discovering, but as they say better late than never. The object of Peggle is simple and oddly addictive. Clear all of the orange pegs on a level by hitting them with your ball. Aim your ball into a field of pegs, hit fire then sit back and watch your ball bounce around the screen like a pinball as it takes out the pegs. If your ball falls into the volcano at the bottom of the screen you earn a free ball.
There are 4 modes of play in the Peggle app. Learn from the experts in Adventure Mode and train to become a “Peggle Master.” In Quick Play you can replay a level that you have already completed in Adventure Mode. Take turns shooting the ball in two-player Duel Mode and complete Challenge Mode to become a Peggle Grand Master.
Maybe it’s the bright colors and hypnotic motion of the volcano moving back and forth at the bottom of the screen, but it seems like the designers at PopCap know the secret creating addictive games because I have a uncontrollable desire to complete every level and become a Peggle Master.
