Start The Rockets!

Start The Rockets is a puzzle game with the best of attitudes: easy to pick up, hard to master. With dozens of levels, eye-catching visuals and a cheap, one time price tag, this is a wonderful mobile game.

Gameplay is very straight forward. A number of rockets, barrels, fireworks and other explosives litter the screen. You have to position your rockets in the correct order and fire off the right one to start a chain reaction that has the rockets snagging stars as they whiz across the screen. Although you can continue onto the next level by only catching a few of the stars, true puzzle-gamers will likely spend the extra time to clear the entire board to earn the top rating.

Levels start off incredibly easy but quickly will have you picking your brain in deciding which rockets to face where and which to fire first. Trial and error is usually your best friend in deciphering a level. Quick loading times make this process a breeze and finally figuring out the correct sequence on the more advanced levels is satisfying.

Although it lacks the randomness and deft flicking of popular hits like Angry Birds, Start the Rockets excels as a more traditional puzzler that offers hours of interest for anyone who likes a deep challenge.

With some sharp cut-scenes, leaderboards and the like the and some decent music to fill out the package, Start the Rockets is a puzzlers dream.
