Super Mole Escape

Apart from making some of the best TV shows around, the folks at Adult Swim Studios do a heckuva job with video games as well, and Super Mole Escape is no exception.

A mole convict escaping from mole prison you are digging your way to freedom as fast as you can, and sometimes faster! The game is easy to play, your mole character is digging his way from the top of the screen down toward the bottom and you direct his path by tilting your device to the left or the right.

Sounds like a piece of cake, right? Wrong buck-o! Not only are there varying densities of dirt to contend with you’ll run up against some rocks that are a time-wasting pain to break, even for a hardened con like you. When you add the fact you are being pursued by the mole prison warden, who looks like a cross between Robo-cop, a Cylon warrior and your pet hamster Mr. Wiggles, you can begin to grasp the challenge.

Fortunately you have numerous opportunities to put space between yourself and Robo-Wiggles in the form of power ups and speed boosts. Grab all the gems in a single formation and you accelerate with an almost invincible boost that is way too short, but snag two or three formations in a row the warden will be left literally eating your dust. Collect three diamonds and you engage the super boost armor which sends you flying through almost any obstacles with lightning speed and a destructive punch. Combine all of the above with that goofy Adult Swim sense of humor and you’ve got a rollicking good game that you’ll find yourself playing every day!

Tips
- Breaking open boxes gives you special, limited use items. Don’t be shy wielding these as once you are holding one it keeps you from picking up another. If the box you just broke gave you a tool you don’t like find a reason to use it quickly and break another box open!

- When you fall through the open cavern, catch as many gems as you can on the way down but don’t get distracted for too long. If you can hit the bucket at the bottom of the screen you’ll enter the next chamber with a boost of speed.
