Civilization Revolution is one of the best turn-based strategy games for the iPhone and iPad. The goal of Civilization Revolution is simple, become the dominant civilization on the map by beating your opponents in one of four ways, militarily, culturally, economically or technologically.

You start each game by picking an iconic leader (Napoleon, Caesar, Cleopatra, Abraham Lincoln etc.) from one of 16 civilizations and several difficulty levels. Each of the civilizations have different starting bonuses, special abilities, and unique units. After playing Civilization Revolution a few times you will discover which civilization works best with your victory strategy.

For newbies the game tutorial walks you through the process of turning your starting village into a metropolis, helping you learn how to found new cities, increase your population, research new technologies and wage war against your enemies.

For fans of turn-based strategy games, Civilization Revolution is a must have app. It’s extremely addictive with high replay value due to the randomly generated maps, multitude of playable civilizations and special scenarios. I must note that there is NO multiplayer component to this app. Adding multiplayer is a must for future installments of this game, because there’s nothing better than wiping your friends off the map!
