The Command and Conquer app is an epic real time strategy saga that has gone back to the 90′s. If you crave the ability to build massive army’s in which to crush your opponent, then grab this game! Command and Conquer: Red Alert’s game play is similar in style to its predecessors; however the controls are slightly different due to being touch screen. The graphics are not the best, but they do the trick; this is due to the massive ram these types of games take (to keep track of all those structures and units you built!). If you have friends that play C&C you can also connect with them via Wi-Fi or Blue Tooth to enhance your competition!
Command and Conquer: Red Alert Walkthrough / Guide
I have played the C&C series since I was about 8 years old. It was amazing and epic every time. I could always stand a chance against the computer, but unfortunately playing online is another story. These games are completely and utterly about multitasking. If you aren’t building 3 things at the same time, moving your men into position, opening up the map and keeping pressure on the enemy, you are going to lose. Everything must be done all at once.
Graphics: Mediocre. But they have to be. Many people don’t understand how much your processor has to hold, in order to keep track of all the different moving parts of this game. The battle for any game of this style is balancing smooth playability and maximum graphics at the same time.
Sound/Music: Low. The sound quality seems a bit low for this developer, but once again I think it’s due to how much ram is already used by the game itself.
Pros: It’s fun, if you like real-time strategy this game is a pretty good one. Real time strategy is hard to pull off with a touch screen, this game does it well.
Cons: Not the best graphics or sound capability, but as I explained before, it’s to be expected.

Addiction level: Medium. It’s a fun game but to be completely immersed you have to like this type of game.
