The Jeopardy App is an awesome way to quiz yourself on Jeopardy questions and answers if you’re prepping to go on the show or even just to play for fun.
On a road trip recently my husband asked me to find a trivia app that we could play to kill time, so I downloaded Jeopardy on the iPhone. We played single-player and I read the questions to him while he drove. The problem with this scenario is that you only have a few seconds to read the question and then select “respond” or “pass,” so I would read really fast and urgently demand that he tell me yes or know if I didn’t know the answer. I guess the real problem was he couldn’t hear me because I wasn’t articulating since I was trying to read it so fast. Well turns out the Jeopardy App it isn’t a great road trip game.
Today we tried playing a local bluetooth game. He was on the iPhone and I played on the iPad. I had fun creating our characters and signing our signatures to the podium, just like the TV show. The game itself goes through the regular Jeopardy questions, Double Jeopardy and of course Final Jeopardy. In multi-player you can’t select difficulty, though when playing alone you can choose between easy, medium and hard.
I enjoyed the multiplayer version of the Jeopardy app, however, I wasn’t very good at it so I’m only giving it 4 stars since I’m bad at trivia, though I’m sure someone who is seriously trying to be on the show would find this app to be an awesome practice tool for Jeopardy questions.
